Mac and I are back from our weekend in Augusta. We checked out a few apartments and some neighborhoods. Interestingly enough, we saw a bunch of houses with cheaper rent than the several gated apartment communities. We're planning to go back in April or May to actually lock down a place. While we were gone, it snowed. For reals. Like we still have snow on the ground. That might seem silly to some of y'all, but this is the third time it's snowed here since we moved here in 2010.
But I couldn't resist buying these for my friends' kids while we were at the mall. They live in Georgia, after all.
Since we now live alone, Mac and I will be moving to the master bedroom downstairs. We started cleaning when we got back. True story: I emptied the vacuum bin five times. The carpet cleaner didn't fare much better. We're just going to get some new towels and rugs for the master.

ReplyDeleteOk this might be random and/or weird, but my brother and his wife (both AF) own a house in Grovetown and are moving this month or next. So while I have never been to their house, I do know that they're planning on renting it out. In case you're interested. ;)
